Auction rules
Updated on 5 August 2026
General principles
Spellstrade auctions must be transparent, verifiable and based on real bids. By joining an auction you accept that bids are binding under the platform rules.
Buyer rules
- Every bid is binding and cannot be freely withdrawn.
- The winning bid must be paid within 48 hours, except bank transfer or operational rules that extend payment up to 7 days.
- Automatic bids may raise up to the maximum amount set by the user.
- If a reserve price exists, the sale completes only when the reserve is met or the seller accepts the final bid.
- Bids in the final seconds may extend the auction to reduce sniping.
- Non-payment may lead to bid blocking, operational penalties or account suspension.
Seller rules
- An auction with active bids cannot be freely cancelled or changed.
- Each lot must be authentic, available and accurately described.
- The seller must ship within 5 business days after payment unless the platform states otherwise.
- Failure to ship, using a different method or providing false data may lead to refunds, penalties, suspension or ban.
- KYC and payout data must be completed before funds are released.
Orders and combinations
Won auctions generate orders to be paid. If the buyer wins more auctions from the same seller within the operating window, the platform may combine them into one unpaid order.
Payments, fees and protection
Available methods and fees are shown at checkout. Fees may include payment, buyer protection, seller fees, promotions and payouts. Order protection holds funds according to order and dispute status.
Disputes and evidence
For items not received, damaged or not as described, seller and buyer must provide complete evidence. Spellstrade may decide based on tracking, photos, videos, auction description, chat and shipping coverage.
Prohibited conduct
Manipulative bids, shill bidding, off-platform deals, abusive cancellations, false content, undeclared proxies, counterfeit products and use of the platform for fraud or money laundering are prohibited.
Support
For auction questions, open a support ticket in your account area.
Current mechanics and prevailing information
Auctions may use automatic maximum bidding, reserve prices, anti-sniping extensions, final proposals and automatic republication. Maximum bids and reserve amounts remain confidential; the platform may only show whether reserve is met. If generic wording here differs, the duration, payment deadline, increments, penalties and conditions shown in the auction and order before confirmation prevail.
